Winter means it’s time for snowball fights, sledding, and snowmen! And for the days when there’s nothing to do outside, we’ve got fun and educational indoor winter kids activities.

Winter at Home

The Great Start Collaborative brings together parents/caregivers and professionals in healthcare, early education, childcare, and social services to achieve four primary outcomes:

  • Children are born healthy
  • Children are healthy, thriving, and developmentally on track from birth to third grade.
  • Children are developmentally ready to succeed in school at time of school entry.
  • Children are prepared to succeed in fourth grade and beyond by reading proficiently by the end of third grade.
